ITD Makes Progress On Road Work Projects
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Three words that we all hate to see are "Road Work Ahead." The Idaho Transportation Department is working on about two dozen different projects right now. Many of those include fixing bridge roadways on Interstate 84 from Glenns Ferry all the way to the Utah border.
Nathan Jerke with the Idaho Transportation Department's Shoshone office says, "Most of these we'll see start to wrap up over the next two to three weeks, and there'll be more continuing into the fall. so there's some closure to some of these projects, and there's going to be continuation to many others." Jerke says one big project that won't be completed until next summer is the eight miles of road just north of Shoshone. But he says the work on US Highway 93 near Rogerson should be finished in the next few weeks. Aug. 22, 2012. Comments ( |
