Icy Roads And Snow Lead To Dangerous Driving Conditions

Southern Idaho (KMVT-TV) Falling temperatures and snow showers across Southern Idaho have led to numerous accidents and slideoffs.

Seven vehicles were involved in two separate crashes on Interstate 84 Wednesday Evening. The Idaho State Police told us that the westbound lanes of the Interstate at the bridge near Exit 216 was closed due to the wrecks for several hours Wednesday Evening. Seven vehicles were involved in two accidents but only minor injuries were reported.

Emergency crews across Gooding, Jerome and Twin Falls Counties have also responded to numerous accidents and slide offs.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the entire Magic Valley through 11 a.m. Thursday Morning and 1-3" of additional snow is likely.
