Idaho Businesses Look Into The Future
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV) The Southern Idaho Business Forum hosted a get-together with the Director of the Idaho Department of Commerce.
Jeff Sayer shared business opportunities available in Idaho's different regions and industries. Sayer explains businesses need to focus on building a skilled work force to move forward. Business owners also have to help invest and expand the infrastructure for future growth.
Sayer says, “That's why we're talking about looking five to ten years ahead. We're saying that there's workforce issues, and there's infrastructure issues. And there's a lot of things that we can be doing now to strategically prepare ourselves for that growth. Because it's coming, and if we're ready, it'll be even bigger in the state. That's what we're trying to accomplish.”
Sayer says Idaho is getting close to being recognized as a good place to do business across the nation.
