Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Tomorrow is "Disability Advocacy Day" in Idaho. Thousands of people across the Gem State deal with mental and physical disabilities every day.

Friday's observance is a reminder that individuals wrestling with these problems, sometimes need help to deal with them.

Carlena Logan, Developmental Program Director for Community Partnerships, says, "In the mental health issues, there's different things like schizophrenia, depression. It's hard for people to get out in the community, and we want to help them with that. Also with their physical needs, we want to make sure that businesses are wheelchair accessible."

Logan says right now, Community Partnerships help Magic Valley residents from the Mini-Cassia area all the way to Tuttle. If you need help, or know someone who does, call the Twin Falls office at 735-2134.
