Idaho Operation Lifesaver A Highlight Of Shoshone Arts Event
Shoshone, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The 25th annual Shoshone Arts in the Park is underway and one of the highlights is the Idaho Operation Lifesaver Trolley.
Throughout the weekend, the trolley is giving free rides around town.
Officials want to encourage everyone to look both ways before crossing railroad tracks.
The organization's goal is to promote awareness about these dangers across the state.
"It gives us a chance to talk to the people while we're on the train especially when we go down main street because they can see the railroad tracks and we tell them hey, make sure you look before you cross. That's operation lifesavers goal is to reduce great crossings across the state."
You can catch the trolley tomorrow at Arts in the Park.
The event continues Sunday beginning with a community breakfast at seven.
Enjoy music throughout the day because of the Mannie Shaw Jamboree. Arts in the Park wraps up at four.
