Burely, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV )
Today was the last day for the Idaho Regatta in Burley.
Residents from all over southern Idaho came to watch three days of boat action.
About 60 boats participated in 11 different races.
Around 2 to 3 thousand spectators come every year to watch boat racing and to swim in the river.
Chairwoman for the burley regatta Kristy Dilworth say s it's great for the community.
"It really does a lot for the community all the boat racers love to come here."
It was 25 dollars to get in each day, or a weekend pass cost around 45 dollars.
Maverick was one of the sponsors and provided a five dollar discount if you had a Mavericks' card.
