Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - An Idaho State Police trooper responded to a bit of a different situation Thursday Morning. Officer Michael Hausauer said he was called to the Subway near the Interstate 84 Highway 93 Intersection. A passerby had called 911 just after 10:30 am reporting a man was seen pushing a walker only wearing disposable hospital clothing.

The man told police that a taxi cab transported him to the Flying J truck stop from St. Luke’s In Twin Falls. He then walked from the truck stop location to the restaurant.

Trooper Hausauer said this was the first time he had responded to this kind of situation. The man asked the officer for a courtesy ride to the Deseret Industries thrift store in Twin Falls.
