Idaho Tops List For New Minimum Wage Employees

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) In 2012 Idahoans who made minimum wage increased by over 12,000 workers statewide.

Making Idaho the number one state in the country for increasing minimum wage employees.

The U–S Bureau of Labor statistics estimate that 31,000 of Idaho's 404,000 hourly workers were paid minimum wage or less.

That's an increase of 12,000 employees statewide.

That comes out to be a 7.7 percent increase, topping the list of states across the county.
