Idahoans Observe Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Government offices are closed today in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.

January 20th marked the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act.

The state capitol observed the anniversary and holiday with the Idaho Human Rights Day Celebration.

A little closer to home, some residents enjoyed getting out and about...

"Well, I went shopping with my wife... which is usually about once a year, went to a funeral, and ate some Chick-fil-A for lunch..." residents Rob and Michelle Sturgill said.
