Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Idaho's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is at the lowest rate it's been in five and a half years.
In February it fell to 5.3 percent, a one tenth percent improvement over January.
Much of the improvement is credited to the labor force "participation rate".
That reflects the percentage of the population sixteen and older working or actively looking for work.
Half of Idaho’s 44 counties had unemployment rates below the statewide average.
