Increasing The Number Of Flights At Joslin Field

By Joey Martin

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) This Monday the Twin Falls City Council will review an agreement that could increase the number of flights out at Joslin Field.

If a 4th flight is accepted, it will increase both the inbound and outbound flights during the airports busiest commuting hours.

According to the plan, SkyWest will be adding a 30–seat Brasilia turbo–prop aircraft that will stay at the airport overnight.

The aircraft will allow for an additional inbound flight from Salt Lake International during the evening.

As well as an additional outbound flight the following morning.

Currently the early morning outbound flights and early evening inbound flights are running at full capacity.

With the new 4th flight added it will go a long way in alleviating the overcrowding of those flights.
