Kimberly, (ID) Watch the interview with Amy Jaques and Fox 14's Diane Dean and see a little of how it's done.
Jazzercise, the world’s leading dance fitness program, announced the opening of its newest fitness center in Kimberly. Located at 234 Elm St. N, the Kimberly Jazzercise Fitness Center will offer four classes weekly, including a class for children, ages 5-12, beginning January 7, 2013.
An open house will be held January 5, 2013 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Admission is free to the public, and participants should dress to exercise. Open house festivities will include information on the Jazzercise program, door prizes and a free workout. Refreshments will also be served.
I’m excited about the growth of Jazzercise locally,” instructor Amy Jaques explained. “Jazzercise offers a unique blend of fitness and jazz dance that area residents have discovered is a lot of fun. The new location will just make it easier for participants to enjoy a workout where it’s convenient for them.”
Classes formerly held in Twin Falls will now take place at the Kimberly Jazzercise Fitness Center.
A 60-minute Jazzercise class offers a fusion of jazz dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, kickboxing and Latin-style movements set to a variety of popular music. Each class includes a warm-up, high energy aerobic routines, muscle toning and cool down stretch segment for people of all ages and fitness levels.
