"Jerome 20/20" Will Focus On Economic Development

By Jay Michaels

Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Economic development is the key to bringing new businesses to town.

A brand new organization called "Jerome 20/20" wants to do that, along with helping existing businesses to grow. They will meet with local businesses to consider their plans for growth, as well as working together with other local economic development organizations.

Board Member Mike Schutz says, "20/20 is an organization focused on Jerome. We'll definitely work in partnership with other existing regional efforts such as Business Plus and SIEDO that work on a regional basis. Our focus is going to be on Jerome."

Schutz says has hired local resident Bob Richards as its executive director. You can reach him by calling 731-1474. Schutz says the group will meet the first Wednesday of each month in Attorney Rob Williams' office on East Main Street in Jerome.
