Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Today Jerome staff members and the Jerome City Council began hammering out their strategic plan for their upcoming fiscal year.

City department heads shared the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that they were facing. The strategic plan will help the city figure out how to best use the money gathered through property taxes.

Jerome City Administrator Polly Hulsey says, "We're starting into budget process. So this will be the first step, then we'll actually start into budget process. And make sure we know where our resources are needed, and that will help us through the budget process and allocating our funds."

The group reviewed its current mission and goals to make sure they lined up with what the city of Jerome is doing now.
