Jerome County Airport Hosts Airport Appreciation Fly-In
Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - Families gathered at the Jerome County Airport for breakfast and much more Saturday morning.
Today was the annual Airport Appreciation Fly-In. The Jerome County Search and Rescue Team hosted their 'all you can eat' breakfast to raise money for the organization. Sheriff Doug McFall offered airplane rides to those who bought a hat. As Sheriff McFall explains, the annual event is designed to give the public a chance to check out the airport. He says, "Well the goal of this is mostly to alert the community to what the airport is all about and what they provide to the community. And also allows the community to support the Jerome County Sheriff's Search and Rescue." The City of Jerome Fire Department, Air Saint Luke's and Snake River Flying Club also took part in the event.
