Jerome Overpass Closes For Bridge Work
Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A local overpass will be closed for up to five weeks as crews can begin a bridge resurfacing project.
The Idaho Transportation Department announced work begins Monday on 100 South Road where it crosses Interstate–84 in Jerome. Some of the details of the project include removing the existing asphalt and concrete surface of the bridge. Crews will also replace the bridge guardrail. The overpass is located near the Jerome Cheese Plant and all traffic will be required to use an alternate route. Officials say work is not expected to impact traffic on I–84. Comments ( |
