Jerome Sends Wastewater Revenue Bond To Voters

Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Tonight Jerome City Council members voted 3 to 2 to put a $48.6 million revenue bond on the ballot for May 21st.

If approved, that money would pay to modify the city's existing wastewater treatment plant. Mayor John Shine says this would also provide the backbone for future expansion of the Jerome plant.

Shine, along with council members Dawn Soto and Robert Culver voted in favor of the bond. Remaining council members Dale Ross and Chris Barber voted against the proposal.
