Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The Jerome County Republican Central Committee held a 'Breakfast with your Legislators' Saturday morning.

The event held at the Jerome Senior Center drew a large crowd to see, hear and talk with elected officials.

Among those who attended the event included Representative Maxine Bell, Senators Jim Patrick and Gretchen Clelland and many others.

Lt. Governor Brad Little says, "We passed the budget, obviously they were conservative. The numbers are coming in, our revenues are up 13%, the April tax receipts were up 13%. We balanced the budget, reduced taxes, we reduced property taxes and that's always the biggest thing."

The Lt. Governor went on to explain how the Magic Valley is an integral part of growing Idaho’s economy.

Southern Idaho was critical in creating jobs, helping to raise wages and helping the state in general.

He further went on to say it’s always important to contact your Representatives whenever you have questions.
