Jorge Lopez-Orozco Triple Murder Trial Postponed Again
Mountain Home, Idaho (KMVT) The trial for a man charged with three counts of first degree murder has been postponed again, this time for almost five months.
Police say that ten years ago, Jorge Alberto Lopez–Orozco killed his girlfriend Rebecca Ramirez, 29, and her two sons, ages two and four. Police also say Orozco burned the three bodies in the desert south of Mountain Home, and then fled to Mexico. He was arrested in Mexico three years ago and brought back to the U.S. in 2010. Last August, he pled not guilty to the three murder charges. His jury trial was first scheduled to begin in February of this year, and then again today. Now Orozco will face a jury beginning at 9:00 a.m. October 15th in Elmore County. May 21, 2012. Comments ( |
