Jump Rope Team Performs In Twin Falls
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) A national jump rope team performed at Morningside Elementary School in Twin Falls.
Jumpers delivered a message to students about fitness and living a drug-free lifestyle. His name is mike cook; he’s considered a professional jump roper. "I experience joy it's something I love and enjoy to do. I've been doing it for 16-years,” said Mike Cook, Jump Roper. Mike Cook is always on his feet, rope in hand he is either doing a simple jump or a complex one. When cook was eight he joined the jump rope team, Proform Airborne. He competes in national championships and even performed in a cirque dreams show. "It's a different kind of sport and it's something that's interesting and fun and takes you all over the world unlike a lot of other sports you get involved with at a young age” said Coach Monica Foster, Proform Airborne.
