Lish and Nash Appear In Court While Terriquez Sentenced Monday

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A man charged with voluntary manslaughter pled not guilty today in court.

21 year old Cayde Lish is accused stabbing 24 year old Jerimiah Piaz to death on October 6th. Lish's case has been turned over to the trial court. His trial date has not yet been scheduled.

In Rupert, the sentencing for a man charged with two counts of criminal conspiracy was postponed today. Police say 37 year old Tommy Dean Nash was involved in an attempted robbery at the Walmart in Burley a year ago in November.

Nash was arrested in Gooding after that attempt. Additional felony charges of aggravated battery and injury to a child were dropped in May. Nash's sentencing is now scheduled to take place on Monday January 7th at 1:30 p.m.

Finally, back in Twin Falls, a man who pled guilty to robbery was sentenced today. Ricardo Meraz Terriquez was sentenced to at least three years in prison. The maximum he could spend behind bars is 13 years.

Meraz is accused of robbing the EZ Money Loans on Blue Lakes Boulevard North. Meraz accepted a plea bargain at his arraignment last month.
