Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Temperatures are heating up and many people are hitting the water.

With many people looking for places to go to cool down.

Did you know there are plenty of places to kayak in the magic valley?

The water is moving, the sun is beaming, and people are finding new ways to cool down.

"People just like to get out once they enjoy the sport once they usually try to go at it again” said Teresa Ballard Sales Manager, River RAT.

Kayaking becomes popular every summer, especially on the Snake River and Dierkes Lake.

"People are getting out more; I think our economy is improving so we are seeing boat sales and boat rentals you know it gets busier as the summer goes on” said Teresa Ballard Sales Manager, River RAT.

"Our customer flow has gone up huge this summer, this year being a warm summer. We have had a huge increase with people coming down a lot of first time people wanting to come out and try the kayaks and people looking to cool off and get in the water” said Tim Pryor Owner, Pryor Paddle Rentals.

Kayaking is the fastest growing water sport in the nation.

You can jump on the band wagon and rent a boat in Twin Falls through many places like River RAT and Pryor Paddle Rentals.

"Kayaks are probably the simplest boats to paddle; the single kayaks are the simplest boats to paddle it almost take no skill” said Tim Pryor Owner, Pryor Paddle Rentals.

So why not travel down the river or relax on the slow waves at Dierkes? Just like so many others are doing as the ultimate adventure for a great deal.
