Keep Your Heart Healthy With Free Seminars

By Jay Michaels

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV) St. Luke's Magic Valley will be hosting a series of free seminars about how to keep your heart healthy.

They'll begin with free cardiac screenings at 5:30 p.m. next Thursday, February 7th. St. Luke's executive chef and two other chefs from the College of Southern Idaho will talk about “heart healthy cooking.”
They'll also provide free samples for attendees.

Laura Stewart from St. Luke’s Magic Valley says, “We're really just trying to continue that idea that we want to educate our public about wellness and prevention, so they can take charge of their own health and empower themselves to become healthier throughout their lifetime.”

Stewart says the chefs will prepare a salad, an entree, a side dish, and dessert.

To make sure there are enough samples to go around, you have to pre–register for this seminar. Please call St. Luke's Magic Valley at 814-0095.
