By Andrew Reed

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The Idaho Department of Fish and Game plans to put resources into keeping down the wolf population.

Fish and game director Virgil Moore made the decision.

Moore said, it is a way to complement what has been effective management of the animals and is open to new ideas.

He believes the department is using the best management tools available.

On Friday, fish and game will look at federal dollars to help with wolf management; this could result in higher fees for hunters and anglers.
