Kids Making Valentines Day Sweet

Hilltop seventh–day Adventist school is one of many schools in the magic valley that are giving the gift of love.

From Twin Falls, Buhl, Wendell, Gooding, and Kimberly ... Volunteers are delivering homemade cards to senior living homes.

"Were hoping to reunite or unite kids with elderly groups so they appreciate them for their contribution to society it teaches kids to respect. It's a fun thing to do with the whole family and its Valentine's
Day and a lot of elderly groups and homes aren't getting the visits that they would get during the big holiday, so why not surprise them and show them a little love."

This year they handed out fourteen hundred valentines, which doubles what they handed out last year.

Local elementary school kids make the cards.
I like helping others and enjoying sharing love and hope and everything.

It was actually really, really fun.

But, it's not just the kiddos who are all smiles today.

I talked to one today that said it's great to see the kids we don't see kids anymore and they're encouraged by that and they want to visit more so I know that it's a positive thing and the more people we can reach the more elderly people connect with our kids and a big difference is made.

Sharing love across the magic valley.
