Last Minute Shopping In The Magic Valley
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The days until Christmas are now down to hours and many have put off shopping until Christmas Eve.
It might as well be a holiday tradition itself, the day before Christmas means last minute shopping is in full swing.
Crowds of people roamed through shopping centers throughout the magic valley.
"Truthfully I'm not a last minute shopper but we are last minute shopping because my husband is a last minute shopper” said shopper Jenice Eccles.
But with the typically large crowds.... last minute shopping is a headache for many shoppers but not for store owners.
"We've actually have done really well this year especially Thursday and Friday it’s been hopping one after another sometimes there are four or five waiting in this little spa to get gift certificates. We've been really blessed and been seeing a lot of people coming in” said Owner Lisa Hawkins, Serendipity.
Some say last minute shopping is a pain, while others consider it a yearly tradition."
"Right now it is too late to order things so it's good to go into stores and see if there is anything that is nice to have for people” said shopper Christian Pedersen.
For most people what it comes down to at the end of the day is making sure their loved ones are taken care of.
