Late Night Road Work At 5-Points
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Starting Sunday night and continuing over the next few nights, the Idaho Department of Transportation will be working at the 5–points intersection, here in Twin Falls, for some regularly scheduled maintenance.
Valley Paving, who has been contracted out by the I.T.D. will begin their work shortly after 10 in the evening and will work through the night, finishing up at around 6 in the morning. Crews will be working to grind down and remove about two and a half inches of surface paving. A new layer of paving will then be poured to create a much more smooth and durable driving surface. Crews are working during the night time hours to avoid traffic delays and detours during the day. During the construction the intersection signal will be an all–red flash during the overnight working hours. Road worker will also be directing traffic and all commercial vehicles are encouraged to find alternate routes. The entire project is expected to be completed by this Wednesday. Comments ( |
