Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV )

A nationwide day of learning.

Leadercast was broadcast live from Atlanta to hundreds of sites around the world, including Twin Falls.

Hosted by Valley Christian Church and presented by the College of Southern Idaho, the event brought in more than 300 community business leaders.

Community Services Director of SCCAP Leanne Trapper adds, "I've been looking forward to this whole day. I just heard last year how inspiring this was, I’m just excited about it and so glad it’s in my community."

The event also serves as a way to give back to the community.
11 scholarships were awarded to kids in the area in order for them to attend the event.

In addition, a portion of proceeds will go to two charities; Sleep In Heavenly Peace Beds and South Central Community Action Partnership.

Pastor of Valley Christian Church Jeremy Fort adds, "that's the part that makes it all worth it. If we weren't able to do that it would take all the joy out of the event."

Trappen continues, "it has a lot of impact in the community and it’s going to have even more of an impact because we are going to be the beneficiary of any proceeds and we can turn around and put that back into the community."

In total, four thousand dollars were given to the charities.
Bringing leaders in the Magic Valley together.
