Local Ag Equipment Dealership In Process Of Buyout
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) A local ag equipment dealership is in the process of a buyout.
Agri-Service owns ten dealerships in three states.
The company, that started in 1990, has headquarters right here in Twin Falls.
Agri-Service has plans to continue to grow, but those plans involved the need for more capital.
The talks led Agri-Service to talks with the Terteling Company, which owns Western States.
The buyout will allow Agri-Service to offer more products to their customers.
"So what you will see with this acquisition is that Agri-Service will now offer the Challenger and Ag-Cam equipment lines, which are rogator and terregator. You'll see Western States equipment, who the Terteling Company also owns, exit that ag business where we have locations," said Clint Schnoor, Agri-Service COO.
Agri-Service wants to reassure its customers that they will see no changes other than a larger product selection.
The buyout is expected to be complete by November 1st.
