Local Author Presents Book
Burley, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A local author is presenting a book of poetry in honor of those serving in the armed forces.
Janice Richards of Rupert, debuted "A Tribute to Those Serving the Red, White and Blue" Saturday at the Book Plaza in Burley. The book is one of many the author has written since retiring from her teaching career. She says the idea for the book came about through social media. "As I would watch and listen to the news and connect with people on Facebook more and more went out from my heart. And, it's my way of showing my support to them," said Janice Richards, Author.
