Local DEQ Office Moves To County West

By KMVT News

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The local Department of Environmental Quality office has moved into the new Twin Falls County West building.

The new office is one and a half times the size of their old office on Pole Line Road. In addition to having a meeting room now, they also have more laboratories to work in, too.

DEQ Regional Administrator Bill Allred says, "I think we have a better facility here to accommodate night meetings, and bringing people in to be with us."

Allred explains they've been packing for this move for months now. But with more than 20 employees working, the office should be ready for business on Monday morning.

It's in Suite 110 of Twin Falls County West at 650 Addison Avenue West. Use the old main entrance on the south side of the building, and enter the sliding double doors. The new DEQ office is at the far north end of that hallway.
