Local Deli Helps Firefighters
Kimberly, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A local sandwich shop has been taking bag lunches to the firefighters working on the Minidoka Complex.
Darla and Gregg Griggs of the Hoagie Street Deli in Kimberly took sandwiches, snacks and fruit to firefighters on Friday morning. The Griggs have been working and living in the area for years and know several of the firefighters in the community. All it took was an early morning phone call from the crew and the Griggs sprang into action. "We always tell these guys you get in a jam, call us, we'll help out. We've been doing that for a long time. It's nice to be in a personal relationship with these guys. They support us, we support them, that's what a small community is all about," said Gregg Griggs, Hoagie Street Deli. Comments ( |
