Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Two fallen southern Idaho soldiers are being honored in Boise.

33–year old Army Sergeant Chris John Workman was killed in Afghanistan on April 19th when the Blackhawk helicopter he was in crashed during a rescue mission.

Workman, a Rupert native, left behind a wife and step son.

Also honored, was 27–year old Army Sergeant Daniel J. Brown.

Brown was killed in southern Afghanistan in March when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.

Both brown and workman's names were added to the Idaho Fallen Soldier Memorial in Boise Tuesday morning.

"I just feel that there's sixty plus names of brave men and women who've given their lives for our freedom on that memorial up there. And, it was all because of things that happened eleven years ago today. And, I'm so proud of my son and all those that serve this country," said Jerry Brown, Sgt. Brown’s father.

Brown, a Jerome native, also left behind a wife and twin daughters.
