Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The Boise State Broncos are playing in the MAACO Las Vegas Bowl for the third straight year. This time, they're squaring off against the Washington Huskies, a team that was the last Pac–12 school to beat Boise. As the Broncos look for redemption, a number of Idahoans are seeking that firsthand as well.

As the Boise State Broncos prepare for the MAACO Las Vegas Bowl, fans back home are doing the same.

Amanda Clark, Store Manager of the Bronco Shop, says, "it's been a little busier this week, everyone's getting ready to go to the bowl game, they're picking up that last minute spirit gear and sweatshirts."

Whether you're going to the game, or watching it from home, fans across the country will be sporting their blue and orange this coming Saturday.

For those of you who are staying home to watch the game, kick–off is at 1:30 Saturday on ESPN.

Sharon Bryan is headed to the game and says, "we've been wanting to go to a bowl game for a long time and we are season ticket holders and go to every home game and this year, it just worked out and we decided we're going! Laughs!"

"I've never been to a bowl game and my husband is a huge fan so we're excited about that," adds Patty Rohweder, who is also going.

Twins Mallori and Haydden Bowman–VerWey pretty much do everything together. You can add the bowl game to that list.

Mallori says, "our mom originally got tickets and just kind of came up and said, hey you guys we have this opportunity. We were excited and said, ya let's go it's just a great Christmas present anybody could ask for."

This might be the third straight time the Broncos have played in this bowl, but this is second year in a row the VerWeys have gone to the game.

"When we first walked in, you could just say 'Boise' and everybody else that was a Boise State fan would erupt saying, 'State' and it was just really cool, you could continue it all throughout the stadium."

Just like last year, Mallori and Haydden are hoping to see their Broncos take home the victory.

But they have to get past the Washington Huskies.

"When you lose to a team, you come back with passion that you want to beat them that much more. Hopefully we'll see a little more effort from our team this year."
