Local Hunger Relief Agencies Highlighted As Grant Recipients
Southern Idaho (KMVT-TV) Five southern Idaho organizations are receiving funds totaling more than $20,000.
They are the Hunger Coalition in Bellevue, Twin Falls Salvation Army, Mountain View Christian Center Pantry, Helping Hands and Hearts in Burley as well as the Twin Falls Senior Center. These are just several of the 30 second year grant recipients through the Idaho Food Bank Fund. These agencies applied for the grant back in July. Officials say these projects expand existing food storage or distribution capacities or increase support services in the state's hunger relief efforts. Comments ( |
