Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Each month the Twin Falls Public Library holds a lecture series that they like to call “Tidbits and Treasure from the Idaho Room”.

The lectures are designed with the intent of educating local residents about the rich and colorful past of the early Twin Falls area.

This Wednesday, the 2013 series kicked off with library staff member Beth Swenson discussing in detail the various religions and churches that made up the city of Twin Falls in the early 20th century.

The series will continue next month, where staff member Mareda Wright will be discussing the lives of American authors Vardis Fisher and Wallace Stegener.
