Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Friday was a big day for the YMCA community of the Magic Valley.

Bill and Donna Kyle, local owners of McDonalds, presented a contribution in the amount of six hundred thousand dollars.

In its 58 years of existence, the Y has never received such a generous donation.

The money will be funneled into two primary projects.

The first is a 4,000 square foot facility to be called the Kids Adventure Center.

This future playground center and exercise area is expected to be up and running by January 2015.

Secondly, the indoor pool at the E Street Y is getting a total makeover with new state of the art HVAC and chlorination systems.

The pool should be sporting its new look by October of this year.

The Kyle family and McDonalds are long time supporters of the Magic Valley YMCA.
