Local students receive ag scholarships
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Agribusiness Committee and KMVT's Agri Action are holding a reception Wednesday evening to award the recipients.
They are Tanner Beymer of Kimberly, Mark Dolecheck of Canyon Ridge, Valley's Valene Lickely as well as Will Billington and Heather Smith, both CSI students. These students plan to enter a career related to agriculture. "They're the ones that have the passion, the interest, they want to learn more and come back to this community and/or Idaho and help out agriculture as it goes into the next few decades," says Gerald Orthel, Idaho Power.
