By Joey Martin

Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Monday night over in Jerome a special city council meeting was held to discuss the current state of the wastewater treatment facility project.

Over the past few years the city of Jerome has been facing an uphill battle when it comes to their waste water treatment plant.

So to help battle back, the city has set out to come up with a few possible solutions to fix the problems.

On Monday, engineering firm Keller and Associates came to the council with what they have outlined as a few possible paths the city can take to alleviate their problems.

The city now wants to know what the citizens of Jerome have to say.

Over the next few months the city will be hosting multiple open houses around Jerome to show citizens what direction they are looking towards.

And also, the city is looking for as much public input as they can take.

Dates for the open houses are still being decided on.

But the city of Jerome did say that the public will be well informed by all local media outlets on when and where these open hoses will take place.
