Magic Valley Armed Forces Day Celebrated At Nat Soo Pah
Twin Falls County, Idaho (KMVT-TV) It's Magic Valley Armed Forces Family Day at Nat Soo Pah Hot Springs.
This time around, officials made it more of a carnival–style atmosphere for the kids. The event invites service members and their families to enjoy a day of relaxation along with an opportunity to check out available resources. Family day has grown over the years and is becoming very popular. "It gives the education for the service members and their families a way to get the information they need for resources that would help during deployment and non–deployment statuses, but it's in a less formal environment and it allows them to have family time to enjoy aside from what their military duties are," says Sonya Nowland, Idaho National Guard.
