Magic Valley Beer Festival Debuts In Twin Falls
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Tomorrow from 12 noon to 5:00 p.m., the Twin Falls City Park will host the first ever Magic Valley Beer Festival.
You have to be 21 years old to attend the beer festival. Part of the park will be fenced off, and event workers will be checking IDs at the gate. Brewers from ten states will bring more than 75 varieties of beer. The organizer says you can sample everything from stouts and lagers to gluten-free beers. Beer guru Shayne Carpenter says, "The way we're working the beer festival is you get a mug similar to this. You get 20 tokens, each token is good for roughly a two-ounce pour. If you want to get a full mug, it costs you four tokens." Tickets at the gate will cost you $30, and live music starts tomorrow about 11:30 a.m. For more information, you can visit magicvalleybeerfestival.com . Aug. 17, 2012. Comments ( |
