Main Water Line Breaks In Jerome
UPDATE: Crews in Jerome have made the necessary repairs to the city water system. It was damaged when construction crews accidentally hit it while working nearby. Water pressure is back up to normal. There will not be a boil order.
UPDATE 5:25PM A message issued by the city of Jerome, say city crews are working on the broken water main at Cedar Street and G Street. The water has not been restored because the crew is waiting on needed parts to fix the problem. Once the water is restored a boil order will be in effect. Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - A main water line in Jerome was broken earlier today, shutting off water to residents along Cedar, West F and G streets. It’s not immediately known what caused the water break to occur but according to a note issued to residents of Jerome, a crew remains on the scene this afternoon to fix the problem as quickly as possible.
