Making Health Resources Easier To Access

By Brittany Cooper

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Media representatives including KMVT checked out Idaho's new Network of Care at the South Central Public Health District Thursday morning.

The association of public health districts in Idaho purchased the product for $35,000, with the costs split among the seven districts.

Officials say it's available to anyone from individuals to policy makers.

Network of Care is a community–based web portal that condenses numerous resources together, instead of data mining through the internet.

"Now you don't have to do it anymore. Now it's consolidated into this website. It's from the National Data Warehouse. The information is vetted by professionals, by healthcare providers and is updated at a minimum quarterly."

The Network of Care can be found as a hot button on the South Central Public Health District website.
