Man Looking To Honor Veterans At A Kimberly Park

By Brittany Cooper

Kimberly, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) A local man has spearheaded an effort to honor our veterans at Kimberly's Centennial Park.

Wayne Sayer founded the idea and says he already has at least 25 businesses willing to donate.

Some of the additions will include a picnic area and flags honoring the branches of service. He believes the project will be in three phases.

All funds will be deposited into an account managed by the Kimberly Legion Post 76.

He will be presenting an update of his efforts at Tuesday's city council meeting.

If you want more information on this project, please call Wayne at 423-6181 or Rich Russell at 420-6909.
