Man Runs Across Nation For Fundraiser, Stops In Twin Falls

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A man is running across the nation to help two children in need.

25-year old Greg Hamblock decided to rest here in Twin Falls on his journey from Washington to Florida.

Hamblock is raising money to put two children in Louisiana through school.

His fundraiser is called Perspiration For Education and he says the children are extremely special to him. "I'm running cross country for a fundraiser I started for two kids who I got to know really well.

"Chris and Megan, they got to be like my younger brother and sister but from a really disadvantaged background."

Hamblock met Chris and Megan during his Americorps experience in 2009.

He plans to move back to Louisiana after his run to help the children.
