Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) A Twin Falls man was sentenced this Tuesday afternoon for his part in a series of vehicle burglaries that took place earlier this year.

Back on January 14th, 22 year old Kendall Wellard broke into multiple vehicles in the Hansen area and made off with stereos, cameras and GPS units.

This Tuesday, Judge Randy Stoker sentenced Wellard on a Ryder program for his actions.

Due to his previous run-ins with law enforcement… Judge Stoker felt Wellard was not an eligible candidate for probation and retained jurisdiction on the case.

Wellard was remanded into the custody of the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office and will now be transported to Boise.

If Wellard fails to complete his Ryder program he could face up to 6 year in the Idaho State Penitentiary.
