Every year, nearly 800-thousand people have a stroke.
That is one every 40 seconds.
But in most cases, it's preventable by lifestyle changes such as exercise and proper nutrition.
The leading causes of stroke are high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and smoking.
Brandy said his goal is to show people who have had a stroke that recovery is achievable with a lifestyle change.
