March For Babies Returns To Twin Falls

By Joey Martin

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT ) Despite the frigid weather Saturday morning, hundreds gathered in Twin Falls to march for babies.

Premature birth is the most urgent infant health problem in America and is the leading cause of newborn deaths.

That's why the March of Dimes is sponsoring a special event to fight back. It's call March for Babies.

And here in Idaho, this event raises over $400,000 every year. This Saturday in Twin Falls, officials set the goal at $30,000.

"I love the Magic Valley community and the way they kind of support each other. I think it's incredible and it says so much about not only the community of Twin Falls and the Magic Valley as a whole but as how we are as Idaho people... how we share with our neighbors," explains Annie Miller, March of Dimes.

If you weren't able to make it out to Saturday morning's March for Babies event and you would still like to donate to this cause, it's as easy as logging onto your computer and pulling out a credit card.

For more information log on at There you will be able to donate directly or find another event taking place here in Idaho.
