Memorial Dedicated to Fallen Local Soldier
Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) "This is not just for the Brown family. This is for every military person ever put a uniform on for us and stood for us and gave up their lives so we could do this," said William McNabb, memorial designer.
"It's just a testament to the caring and the natural love that people really have in this valley for the veterans," said Jerry Brown, Sgt. Daniel Brown’s Dad. A memorial dedicated to Army Sergeant Daniel Brown now stands at Steelhorse Motorcycles in Jerome. Several in the community pitched in supplies to help make it happen. The memorial consists of a large metal frame that contains a leather jacket signed by hundreds, including country music star Billy Ray Cyrus. Also, included is a picture of the fallen soldier and his high school jersey. Comments ( |
