Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV/KTWT-TV) The community came together this afternoon to remember a slain sheriff's deputy. The twelve annual Molson Memorial was held Sunday afternoon at the rock creek restaurant.

James Moulson was killed in the line of duty in 2001. Moulson was a Jerome county sheriff's deputy and was shot and killed while serving a warrant in Eden. Family, friends and law enforcement from around the area gathered to show their support for their fallen comrade.

"You know we just want to have an annual event to honor him and help others in need, just looking to carry on his name," said Brother Bob Moulson.

The proceeds from the event are used to help law enforcement in the Magic Valley and across the state. The money is also used for scholarships and to purchase uniforms for the law enforcement program at the college of Southern Idaho.
